A few days ago I went to Legatoria Polliero to buy a new sketchbook to use on an upcoming trip. To my great disappointment, I discovered that they were closed until next Monday. Today I went to Testolini to see what I could obtain that was a decent substitute. I found this Fabriano notebook. I made this drawing this evening as a test of the paper. It is not handmade paper (Amatruda)in a handbound book, but the paper is acid free and it seems to take the pen line and watercolor wash.
