About the table: we found an iron floor furnace grill in a junk shop years ago and had it made into a table by a woodworking friend. On the table are a silver dish with Venetian glass candies, and a Lee Ferber vase. The cane-backed chair is a reproduction MFWthyme had made for each of her sons of a chair she had at Edgehill that was lost when her house burned down. Fortunately, there was one at the Territorial Restoration that could be copied.

This is the first time I have tried to draw the iron tabletop accurately. A few days have gone by without my making any drawings because I have just haven't had time. In the meantime, I looked around and found a Polliero-bound notebook that I last used in 1996 that had many blank pages. I should be able to continue in this one for several weeks.

It must have been tough to color the rug's pattern through the grate. If you don't have time to draw, why not share some drawings you made a while ago? It's always nice to see how an artist's style contrasts to what they did a few years ago, anyway.
