Here is a drawing for holiday travelers. I made this drawing at London Gatwick a month ago while killing time waiting for a delayed plane departure. Drawing helped me tune out, and even appreciate, the large, noisy departure area.

December 24...a pretty mild day...I sat on the terrace and drew the two iron serpents of the pergola. The left-hand drawing is more accurate than the right...spirals are hard. I took the measurements afterwards, and am going to try to study the proportions of these creatures. I added the conversation this evening.
