Morning glories

While I was in Russia, northern Italy had a heatwave. I came back to Venice to find that the terrace geraniums survived, but all of the petunias were dead. On the bright side, the morning glories had started to bloom.

Iron serpents with morning glories

It is a satisfaction to see the morning glory vines climbing up the serpents, giving a green coat to the creatures.

I am using a desktop scanner. I left my digital camera with Geesepalace, so won't have good photos again until next week.
