Palm Sunday. A warm, wonderful day. I rented a bike on the Lido. Ate my sandwich on a rock of the San Nicolo jetty, and drew shells.

Fresh peas from the Rialto food market. The structure of the leaves is quite interesting. I didn't realize until I started drawing that the tendrils are opposite each other, not alternating.
