We went to a brief organ concert held this late afternoon at San Marco. I haven't drawn there in ages. During the day it is simply impossible with all the tourists herding through, and rope lines to keep people moving within strict bounds. A concert, with seating in the nave, was just too good an opportunity to pass up. Very few people were there, and I sat far in the back where my drawing while the music was performed did not disturb anyone. Afterwards, I stopped at the Christmas mercatino in Campo Santo Stefano and had a piece of candied pineapple on a disk of dark chocolate. Delicious. Then went to Saint George's for the Advent carols service.
